Lets Get Specific

This is what I've been staring at for the last few weeks. The basic outline of my trip. Now, if only I could start on the details.

By the way, just to clarify - I'm going out to Georgia to live and work - no round trip necessary.

Thank goodness.

My favorite street in Santa Cruz, right near the center of it all, but you feel miles away.

Ocean Street Extension, my friends.

I will now proceed to give you a tour. Hooray!

And we have flowering cactus, the fruit of which I was sorely disappointed with, and gave me more than a little pain to boot (I'll tell you the story if you ask nicely).

Sheep grazing. In Santa Cruz!

I love this street.

This is a great door.

Evidently, we have a Sheriff's posse in Santa Cruz.

Who knew the Sheriff still NEEDED a posse.

When you walk long enough down this street, it turns into woods and creek. It's lovely.

And then, woods turns into Redwoods. The temps drop 10 degrees at least.

Redwood sorrel, only found near Redwoods. When you eat it, it tastes like green apples.

Look at those things. They are breathtaking.

And finally, Ocean Street Extension ends out in the woods, in the sun.

Did I mention, I love this street.
