Final Stretch

Shipping has been scheduled for Monday. Such a great step in the right direction.

Miss Betty the Vespa is home, and (knock on wood)working perfectly.

I have everything out that I'll need to pack for my trip, and everything else in boxes, which means I may or may not be wearing the same three pair of underwear for the next eight days...plus 49 days after that...

I'll leave Wednesday afternoon, spend the night at my brother's place, and then officially leave Santa Cruz for the last time on Thursday morning and head down south on the first day of my trip. AH!

The Mountain

...that I'm attempting to sort through. But good news, I'm route- planned up to Phoenix! I'll update with route specifics in the next few days once I've planned to Kansas (arrival hopefully 2 August).
