Stopped to sit for a few moments, and ended up having such a good time talking to God and being reminded by him of what is true in my life. I have been tired, no, EXHAUSTED, from the moment I began my trip this morning. But that break did as much for my heart as it did for my body.

Simon, Jon and I heading home after a great time with our parents. And, it was so nice to FLY with someone else!

Music City.

I'd go on long walks around Simon's neighborhood and look at all the southern houses. I liked the colors on this one.

Minnie Mae got a bath and looked worse after than she did before. Aw.
It has been so hot all day, and though I have been chugging water, I still have a headache and feel a bit irritable. So I decided to stop for an extended amount of time and drink an iced latte (thank you Beth Carvill!) and try to cool down a little. This day has been an energy sapper. I am about 40 miles from Atlanta so I've hit the home stretch, thankfully. And then tomorrow, God-willing and as Simon pointed out, I will reach the Atlantic ocean and will have officially made it from one ocean to the other. I can't believe it.

No shout out to the poor fellow who when I asked for directions said, "why would you go to Atlanta on 41 [secondary Hwy]...it'll take you FOREVER. Take the interstate". I think I may have rolled my eyes.

Today's Letters

My amazing friend Pilar sent me a link to a really cool blog called Today's Letters. They had a challenge that made Pilar think of me (had to do with taking a photo with a Vespa), so I submitted a photo. Yeah for Vespas...we're taking over the world.
