And then the mountains opened up to open fields and it was raining but just enough that I had to put my rain gear and waterproof the Vesperton as well. It was good practice because I think rain will dog me all the way through New Mexico. Once I'm ready to go and waterproofed, riding in light rain isn't half bad.
